about

Transvection Ltd 013 - MotherBlood

Enter the world of MotherBlood. Born from the ashes of the synth driven sounds of Maniqui Lazer (Soundsister) and noisescapes of Vampire Slayer (Static Discos), Let your ears soak up all the sound goo made by C. Valentin Torres and let your mind expand.

Cesar Valentin Torres, a self-taught musician that came out of the now defunct and once laureate dance punk band Maniqui Lazer. Immediately after their rupture he ventured into a solo career making music and started a small cassette/digital label called Indian Gold Records. As MotherBlood (Indian Gold / BLWBCK / Static Discos), he has aimed his digital and analog ammo toward a more personal terrain where the night, the sexual and the black & white take place.

Take a trip to the inner depths of the machine-driven consciousness. At times you’ll find techno-infused rhythms that drill your skull like a trepanation and expose your brain to the outer limits, some other times you’ll hear deep pulses from a dystopian future mixed with hip hop flair. Chants coming and going that induce you into a meditative trance and lock you into the groove.

“The androids have garnered sufficient information to control the earth and are ready to take over the humans. Technology is slavery and it will deconstruct the human psyche to control everyone without their knowledge. The album ends with a robotic chant praising the android god. Technology has won. We are deep in the shackles of it.”
