Yeyo Moroder - Hypnos Vol. Two.

Hypnos V. II, rises into light from the exact same folder where first-volume recordings departed to conform the 2018 album. The same folder holds a collection rounding 90 tracks revealing Moroder`s deep interest and devotion for improvisation and lo-fi music.

Hypnos Volume I (Transvection Ltd. 2018) could be described as a redundantly hypnotic sonic experience aiming to dig into the deepest phases of sleep; while in Volume II, Moroder abruptly awakens us and suddenly throws into a thicker, rougher, and nightmarish state of consciousness.

Reaching the closure, at the end of Hypnos V. II, we seem to arrive to the acceptance of a stillness phase, the fact is, there is not return… the previously visited places we leave somewhere behind seems to far to ever wander back. The awaken state, "the normal" state, seems to be distant and strange.

Hypnos V. II still deploys Yeyo Moroder`s signature in his previous recordings, being quite plural and made in several unusual and disparate ways, using a wide collection of instruments, adding colors and textures that only have in common the quality of being an accidental finding, like some sort of forgotten easter egg at the bottom of an abandoned box, a box full of tapes kept in a ghostly studio, that glows, like shining debris of unfinished compositions.
